Here's Maddy....Oct 2006

hi this is maddy

i feel kind of special becuase my brother has pks so it makes him special.  he is cute my mom just gave him a hair cut.  he is learning to sit up by himself.  he likes to suck on his hands and he can be kind of loud sometimes but i am used to it. even though those noises wake me up sometimes at night!  I share a room with simon and natalie.

i like to help simon and i give money to him for his fundraisers--i like to do that.  i like to help him if my mom needs me to feed him or something.  i like to show him his toys and lights and tickle him.  i even took him to school when he was really little.

that's all for now, just wanted to talk about simon a little!

Alex speaking....June 2006

Hello All,

Before Simon was born, I thought I wouldnt treat him any different, than a normal child. I'm sorry to say I used too. And i regret it very much, I was embarrassed of him, when really he and everyone else should be embarrassed of ME!!!! We then went to a PKS conference, I got to see other people who were in the same situation I am. After the conference, I am proud to say I AM NOT EMBARRASED of my brother anymore. I hope one day he will forgive me for being embarrassed of him, but I never did not love him. And I always will!!!!!

From Gretchen:

Alex asked me if I'd add a page so he could post thoughts off and on.  I think I'll let Maddy and Emily add stuff too!  Watch here for postings from them.
